PUTIEN Restaurant

During my recent visit to Putien Restaurant, I was blown away by the dishes I tried, particularly the seafood Lor Mee and crispy fried oysters. The seafood Lor Mee featured a rich, savoury broth cooked with fresh seafood, red mushrooms, and traditional Chinese herbs and spices. Every spoonful was bursting with flavour, and I could tell that the ingredients used were of the highest quality.

The crispy fried oysters were another highlight of my dining experience. Each oyster was perfectly cooked to a crispy golden brown on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. The tangy dipping sauce that came with the dish perfectly complemented the savoury flavours of the oysters, making it impossible to resist ordering a second helping.

Tokyo Shokudo

If you’re in the mood for Halal food at Tampines Mall, Chicken Chashu Ramen from Tokyo Shokudo is an excellent option. It’s a hot, steamy bowl of creamy broth with medium-sliced Chicken Chashu wading in the centre.

Flavor-wise, it offers a balance of savoury and umami flavours combined with its rich consistency. The ramen also comes with a thick slice of slow-braised Menma that plays opposite to the lightness of the soup, adding contrast to its flavour profile.

Scallop Ramen is another dish that should be at the top of your list! Not only is it delicious, but its texture and flavour combination makes it truly unique in the food market. The combination of spicy cornmeal and a sautéed scallop stock gives it an unbeatable depth that will make sure to make you come back for more.

Big Fish Small Fish

Those looking for halal food at Tampines Mall should try the finger food platter of Big Fish Small Fish. This rich platter consists of onion rings, Karaage Chicken, crisps, and fried calamari that will tantalise your taste buds and make it an unforgettable food experience.

When the platter arrived at my table, I knew I was in for something special. The aroma made my mouth water as the scent of perfectly fried foods filled my nose. And once I took my first bite, I was hooked.

The onion rings were crispy and golden, with a satisfying crunch that gave way to tender, perfectly cooked onions. They were coated in a light batter that added just the right amount of flavour without overwhelming the onions’ natural sweetness.

The Karaage Chicken was a revelation. Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavour, it was easily the highlight of the platter. The chicken had been marinated in a mixture of soy sauce, ginger, and garlic before being fried to perfection, creating a crispy exterior that gave way to moist, succulent meat. Nando’s

Nando’s is a restaurant that is renowned for its delicious chicken dishes. While many people flock to Nando’s to try their whole chicken, there are a couple of dishes that I highly recommend you try when visiting this restaurant.

One of my absolute favourites is the Green & Lean Bowl. This dish combines deliciously grilled chicken breast and crunchy salad greens. The chicken is perfectly cooked and seasoned with Nando’s famous peri-peri sauce, which adds just the right amount of heat.

Another dish that I can’t get enough of is the Crispy Cheese Pulled Chicken Pita. This pita is stuffed with tender pulled chicken that’s been slow-cooked and perfectly seasoned. The cheese is crispy and delicious, and it adds a nice crunch to the sandwich. The pita bread is soft and fluffy, making it the perfect vessel to hold all of the flavorful ingredients.

The creamy mushroom soup is a must-try. It’s made with fresh shiitake and button mushrooms and served in a sourdough bread bowl. The soup’s aroma was intoxicating, filling the air as soon as it was placed on the table. The bread bowl was warm and crusty on the outside yet soft and fluffy on the inside.

The tenderloin steak is another dish that should not be missed; served with your choice of BBQ, sambal, or black pepper sauce, the steak is cooked to perfection and incredibly tender. The sauce adds a burst of flavour that complements the steak beautifully.
